Does Kay Have a Life beyond Real Estate?

I love my job, but when I am not selling real estate I enjoy my family very much! I have been married to my husband, Bill, who was also my high school sweetheart, since 1969.  We are best friends and love spending time with each other. He is wonderful and brings out the best in me!

We were blessed with one child - a son, Joel, who is a pastor.  He is married to Kimberly, a real Southern Belle from Birmingham, Alabama. They graduated from the University of NC at Wilmington, and Joel also graduated from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Va. He’s currently working on his Doctor of Ministry degree at Luther Rice Seminary in Georgia.  Kimberly is a computer and math whiz and presented me with a gorgeous granddaughter born at Thanksgiving.!

Bill and I are pretty politically active. He is past party chairman in Rowan Co. We work with numerous countywide efforts - Rotary Club, United Way, Livingstone College, and church activities are very important to us. We've taught Bible Study classes for years and love teenagers and young adults.

We also have a heart for Border Collies. We rescued Abby in September of 2002, and she has become our baby. She is a beauty and has made it her job in life to look after me. Actually, she has no idea she’s a dog!  What a love!
